ROTARY CLUBS OF MELTON MOWBRAY AND MELTON MOWBRAY BELVOIR
Rotary Young Musician 2007
The Melton Mowbray Young Musician Festival arranged by the Rotary Clubs of Melton Mowbray and Melton Mowbray Belvoir Youth Activities Committee will be held on Saturday 3 February 2007 at the Melton Mowbray Baptist Church, Leicester Road, commencing at 9.00am.
There will be three age groups (as at 31 August 2006)
	Junior	6-10 years
	Intermediate	11-13 years
	Senior	14-17 years
And categories for 2007 are as follows:-
	Solo Instrumental, Solo Vocal
	Ensemble Instrumental, Ensemble Vocal	(2-4 musicians)
	Choirs	(5 or more)
	Musical Groups	(5 or more)
Entrants may only perform ONCE in each category.
Entrants should perform a selection of music of their own choice which must consist of a minimum of two pieces of varied style. No entrant shall play more than one instrument in his/her performance and must not exceed the time allowed: Junior 4m Intermediate 6m Senior 8m. Winners and Runners-Up will be invited to take part in the Northern District Semi-Final on Saturday 10 March in Melton, with the District Final at the Melton Theatre on Sunday 29 April.
